DigiLocker is the Indian government's official digital document wallet. It securely stores and shares your government-issued documents — Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence, and more. Over 200 million Indians have a DigiLocker account.
When you verify on AirlockChat, you're using the same government infrastructure used by banks, airlines, insurance companies, and government services across India.

Log in with your credentials
You log in with your DigiLocker username and password. We never see these.
Authorize basic identity access
You authorize AirlockChat to access only your basic identity information.
We receive your verified name
AirlockChat receives your verified first name and a masked document number (last 4 digits only).
Facial comparison against your ID
Your profile photo is compared against your government ID photo using face recognition.
Done — you're verified
Your display name is set to your verified first name. It cannot be changed. You're ready to use AirlockChat.
What this means for your privacy.
We never see your full document
AirlockChat receives only your verified name and a masked document number (last 4 digits). Your full Aadhaar, PAN, or other document details are never transmitted to us.
DigiLocker handles authentication
You log in through DigiLocker's own secure government system. We never see your DigiLocker password. We don't store your login credentials.
You can delete everything
If you delete your AirlockChat account, all DigiLocker-related data — verified name, masked document number, facial verification score, and session hash — is purged within 30 days.
